Social Islami Bank participated in a gathering organized by the Bangladeshi Community of Madinah-Munawara, Saudi Arabia, recently. Around 1600 Bangladeshi expatriates residing in Madinah assembled for the event.
Zafar Alam, the Managing Director & CEO of the Bank, attended the event as the chief guest, and he was honored with a crest by the Bangladeshi expatriates. Mohammad Habibur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director, and Towhid Hossain, SEVP & Head of IRMD of the bank, also graced the occasion with their presence, reads a press release.
Zafar Alam, Managing Director and CEO of the bank, stated that the expatriate community is doing a great job for the country by sending remittance, which is very significant for economic development of the country.
He urged the expatriates to send remittance in legal channels.
