Social Islami Bank distributed agricultural investment among marginal farmers in Satkhira on Thursday at an event organized by Satkhira Branch. Zafar Alam, Managing Director & CEO, presided over the program while S.M. Hasan Reza, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, was present as chief guest.
Habibur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director, Mosle Uddin, Head of Khulna Zone, Shyam Sundar Roy, Head of SME & AFD, were present at the event. Among others Azizul Haque, Manager of Satkhira Branch, local dignitaries, farmers, and bank officials were also present on the occasion.
Zafar Alam, Managing Director & CEO, said that we would extend disbursement of agricultural finance to different parts of the country gradually in future, which would directly help our country achieve food sufficiency.
