Shahjalal Islami Bank Foundation distributed relief (food items) to 3050 helpless and poor families in Banshkhali, Chattogram district and Chakaria and Ramu areas of Cox’s Bazar district, those were affected by the recent floods on 22 July 2026. The manager of Cox’s Bazar Branch of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. Mr. Md. Jane Alam and the manager of Chakaria Branch of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. Mr. Mijanul Karim were present and distributed the relief items to the helpless and poor families. While distribution of relief materials among the Chattogram District Bar Association General Secretary & Chattogram District PP Advocate Mr. Abdur Razzak, prominent social worker Mr. Nurul Abchar Riyad, the prominent businessman Shahidur Rahman Kaiser and local prominent people were also present.
