Social Islami Bank opened four sub-branches through virtual platform on 25 June at its head office. Zafar Alam, Managing Director and CEO, inaugurated the sub-branches as the chief guest while Mohammad Forkanullah, Deputy Managing Director, presided over the program. Among others, Abdul Hannan Khan, Deputy Managing Director, and Joynal Abedin, Head of Branches Control Division, spoke at the event. Divisional Heads of head office, Zonal Heads, Managers of different branches and sub-branch in-charges, journalists, businessmen, local dignitaries, also joined the program virtually. The sub-branches are Nangalkot Subbranch at Cumilla, Signboard Subbranch at Dhaka, Fultola Subbranch at Khulna and Sakhipur Subbranch at Tangail.
Zafar Alam, MD & CEO, described this moment as a significant achievement for our bank to cross 200 subbranches milestone. Our total number of subbranches has now reached 202. He further emphasized that this expansion of our network reflects our commitment to provide banking services directly to the doorsteps of our valued clients.
