SIBL (Operating under Sammilito Islami Bank ) Holds Business Review Meeting with Sylhet Region Branches

A Business Review Meeting of Social Islami Bank PLC (SIBL), operating under Sammillito Islami Bank PLC, was held on July 18, 2026, at La Vista Hotel, Sylhet, with the participation of representatives from 10 branches and 15 sub-branches of the Sylhet Region. Mr. Md. Abul Bashar, Administrator of the Bank, attended the meeting as the Chief Guest. Mr. Asadul Mustafa, Dr. Mohammad Bozlul Karim and Ms. Rowson Akter, Associate Administrators, were present as Special Guests. Mr. Abu Rushd Iftekharul Haque, SEVP, along with Heads of various Head Office divisions, Branch Managers, Operations Managers, Investment Officers and In-charges of the participating sub-branches, also attended the programme. The meeting reviewed the business performance of the branches and discussed strategies to achieve the Bank’s business objectives. Special emphasis was placed on the recovery of classified investments. Participants were instructed to accelerate investment growth in the SME, agricultural, and retail sectors, expand import, export, and other non-funded businesses, and strengthen remittance mobilization and deposit collection.
