A Based Panchagarh Correspondent: Awards have been presented to outstanding students in Tentulia. On Thursday morning, these awards were given to exceptional students from various educational institutions in Tentulia at the hall of the Upazila Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center, as part of the Performance Based Grants for Secondary Institutions Scheme (PBGSI) under the SEDP.

The ceremony was presided over by the chief guest, District Education Officer (In-charge) Khairul Anam Md. Aftabur Rahman Helali Upazila. Crests and certificates were awarded to 38 top students from 20 educational institutions for the 2022-23 academic year. The welcome address was presented by Al Farooq, the General Secretary of the Teachers’ Association, while Shawkat Ali, the Upazila Secondary Education Officer, also delivered a welcome speech.

Among the special guests who addressed the gathering were Academy Supervisor Atwari Rezaul Nabi Raja, President of the Secondary Teachers Association and Headmaster of VP High School Harun Or Rashid, Principal of Bhajanpur Degree College Shipon Md. Habibur Rahman, Principal of Majhipara Women’s College Mozaharul Haque, and President of the Managing Committee of Aziznagar High School Abu Sayeed Mia, among others.
