Shilpakala Academy concludes Short-Term Basic Training

Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) culminated its short-term basic training course on Wednesday, marking the successful completion of a comprehensive program designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of 33 newly appointed 11th to 20th grade employees.

The certificate distribution ceremony was held at the BSA premises, presided over by the Director of the Training Department, Mr. Muhammad Shariful Haque. The Honorable Secretary of the Academy, Mr. Salahuddin Ahmed, graced the occasion with his presence.

Mr. Liaquat Ali Lucky, the Director General of BSA, officially distributed the certificates to the participants, commending their dedication and commitment throughout the 14-day training program. He emphasized the importance of cultural education and urged the employees to become cultural ambassadors in their respective roles.

“Everyone should embrace the role of a cultural bearer,” stated Mr. Lucky. “Through our collective efforts, we can uphold the country’s cultural consciousness and preserve our rich heritage.”

The training program covered a wide range of topics, including: BSA’s history, vision, mission; and activities; Constitution of Bangladesh, laws, and regulations; Project management and financial management; Departmental cases and investigation processes; Annual Performance Agreement (APA); E-governance and innovation; Service Promise and Right to Information Act; documents; Event planning and management; Bangladeshi fine arts and paintings; Aesthetic theory; Understanding children with special needs; and History of music, dance, and recitation.

The short-term basic training course is a testament to BSA’s commitment to developing its workforce and fostering a culture of continuous learning. By equipping its employees with the necessary skills and knowledge, BSA empowers them to contribute effectively to the preservation and promotion of Bangladesh’s rich cultural heritage.
