Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC has won the Gold Award in the Islamic Banking category at the 12th ICSB National Award-2024 in recognition of its excellence in corporate governance and establishing transparency and accountability in overall management. The Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) organized the 12th ICSB National Award-2024 on 15 December 2025 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital. The Commerce Advisor, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh SK. Bashir Uddin was present as the chief guest in the program. The Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed received the award from Lutfey Siddiqui, Special Envoy on International Affairs, the Chief Advisor of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
Among others, the Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank Dr. Md. Habibur Rahman, the Chairman of Financial Reporting Council Dr. Md. Sajjad Hossain Bhuiyan, the President of ICSB Hossain Sadat, the Commissioner, Bangladesh Securities & Exchange Commission Md. Saifuddin, CFA, the Member of the Jury Board Ms. Kalyani Santoshkumar, the Deputy Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC M. M. Saiful Islam and the Company Secretary Md. Abul Bashar were also present in the award giving ceremony.
