Shahjalal Islami Bank supports hockey players with mouth guards

As part of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, financial assistance was provided for the purchase of mouth guards for hockey players of Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP), located in Jirani, Savar, on Saturday.

The Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank Khandaker, Sakib Ahmed, handed over the donation check to Zahid Hossain, in charge of the BKSP Hockey Department. Among others, the manager of the Savar branch of Shahjalal Islami Bank LPC, Mr. Mizanur Rahman, was present while distributing the check.

BKSP is the only sports education center in the country, located in Jirani, Savar. Apart from education, it is well known as one of the centers for producing national and international-quality players in all formats of the country. The Hockey Department is one of the various departments of Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP). Mouth guards protect players’ faces from various accidents while playing hockey. Accordingly, financial assistance has been provided for purchasing mouth guards for 53 players.
