Shahjalal Islami Bank Sponsored Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB) to organize “Hajj and Umrah Fair-2025”

Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. provided sponsorship of Tk. 20.00 lakh (twenty lakh) to the Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB) in order to organize “Hajj and Umrah Fair-2025”. On 07 August 2025, at a function organized at the Corporate Head Office of the Bank, the Managing Director of the Bank, Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, handed over the sponsorship cheque to Mr. Syed Golam Sarwer, the President of the Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB). Among others, the Secretary General of the Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB) Mr. Farid Ahmed Mazumder, the Additional Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Mr. Imtiaz U. Ahmed, The Company Secretary of the Bank Mr. Md. Abul Bashar, The CFO of the Bank Mr. Md. Jafar Sadeq, FCA, the Head of Investment Risk Management Division Mr. Md. Amzad Hossain, the Head of Sharia Inspection & Compliance Division of the bank Maulana Mr. Md. Farid Uddin, the SAVP Mr. Md. Jakir Hossain and the JAVP, In-charge of the Public Relations Division & Bank Foundation of the bank Mr. K. M. Harunur Rashid were present in the program during the handing over the sponsorship cheque.

The three-day “Hajj and Umrah Fair-2025” will be held from August 14-16, 2025 at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center (BCFCC), Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Agargaon, Dhaka. The people wishing to perform the holy Hajj and Umrah, various agencies, numerous visitors and their relatives will visit the fair.
