Shahjalal Islami Bank signed a MoU with HAAB

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC (SJIB PLC) and Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB) on 09th April 2025 at HAAB office in the Capital. Under the Memorandum of Understanding, all Hajj & Umrah Pilgrims can deposit their Hajj & Umrah Registration Fee through 141 Branches and 5 Sub-Branches of SJIB PLC from all over the country. The Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed and the President of HAAB Syed Golam Sarwer signed on the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on behalf of their respective organizations.

Among others the Secretary General of the HAAB Mr. Farid Ahmed Mazumder, the Joint Secretary General of the HAAB Mr. Mohammad Jafar Uddin, the Finance Secretary of  HAAB Mr. Mohammad Abdul Hamid, the SEVP & Company Secretary of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Mr. Md. Abul Bashar, the Deputy Manager of the Bank’s Bijoynagar Branch Mr. Md. Joynul Abedin Khan Safari, the Head of Bank’s Shariah Inspection & Compliance Division Maulana Mr. Md. Farid Uddin and the JAVP & In-Charge of Public Relations Department of the Bank Mr. K. M Harunur Rashid along with the senior officials of both organizations were present in the agreement ceremony.
