Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. recently awarded as the Strongest Shariah based Bank from the Global Economist Forum. 

The Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed received the award from Dr. Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury, the chief guest of the program and former foreign affairs advisor of the caretaker government.

Among others the president of Global Economist Forum Dr. Enayet Karim, the Senior Vice President Major General Dr. Dilawar Singh and the High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam H. E. Haji Haris bin Haji Othman were present in the award giving ceremony.
