Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC won First Prize (Gold Award) in “ICMAB Best Corporate Award-2023” for the performance of various indicators based on Annual Reports-2023. The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) awarded the First Prize (Gold Award) to Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC in the Private Commercial Bank (Islamic Operation) category on 14th November 2024 at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital with a ceremony. The Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Mosleh Uddin Ahmed received the award from Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed the Adviser, Ministry of Finance, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. While receiving the award the Adviser, Ministry of Commerce Sk. Bashir Uddin, the Company Secretary of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Md. Abul Bashar and the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Bank Md. Jafar Sadeq, FCA were also present.
Among others the Secretary of Ministry of Commerce Md. Selim Uddin and the Chairman of National Board of Revenue Md. Abdur Rahman Khan were also present in the award program.
