Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. recently signed a participation agreement with Bangladesh Bank’s Sustainable Finance Department to promote Green Products/Projects/Initiatives under the refinancing scheme introduced by Bangladesh Bank.
The Director of Sustainable Finance Department of Bangladesh Bank Mr. Chowdhury Liakat Ali and the Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Among others the Deputy Managing Director of SJIB PLC. Mr. M. M. Saiful Islam, the Joint Director of Sustainable Finance Department of Bangladesh Bank Mr. Ragib Ibnul Asif and other high officials from both organizations were also present at the signing ceremony.
