The 23rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. held through online video conference on Thursday. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Mr. A. K. Azad, MP presided over the meeting.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) approved 14 percent Cash dividend for the Shareholders and the Directors reported & audited Balance Sheet and the profit & loss account for the year ended on 31st December 2023. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Mr. A. K. Azad, MP & the Managing Director Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed delivered a speech in the Annual General Meeting (AGM). The SEVP & Company Secretary of the Bank Mr. Abul Bashar moderated the program.

Among others the Vice-Chairman of the Board Mr. Mohammed Younus, the Directors of the Bank Mr. Sanaullah Shahid, Mr. Abdul Barek, Mr. Abdul Halim, Mr. Akkas Uddin Mollah, Mr. Khandaker Shakib Ahmed, Engineer Towhidur Rahman, Mr. Fakir Akhtaruzzaman, Mr.  Moshiur Rahman Chamak, Mrs. Tahera Faruque, Mrs. Jabun Nahar, Mr. Fakir Mashrikuzzaman, Independent Directors Mr. Ekramul Haque, Mr. K. A. M. Majedur Rahman and Mr. Nasir Uddin Ahmed were also present at the AGM.
