Shahjalal Islami Bank distributes Iron Sheet to the families affected by Cyclone Remal 

As part of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC’s Corporate Social Responsibility program, the Bank has distributed Iron Sheet among the affected families of Kalapara Upazila due to Cyclone Remal. On May 31, 2025 two bans of Iron Sheet were distributed to 240 families each with the help of Bangladesh Army at the Alhaj Jalal Uddin College auditorium in Dhulasar Union, Kalapara Upazila, Patuakhali. At the time of distribution Engineer Md. Towhidur Rahman (CIP), Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank, was present as the chief guest while Mr. Yusuf Ali Lecturer of Alhaj Jalal Uddin College presided over in the program. The Brigadier General Alamin, the Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Mr. Md. Moshiur Rahman Chamak, the Additional Managing Director of the Bank Imtiaz U. Ahmed, the Chairman of Bangladesh Freelancer Development Society Dr. Tanjiba Rahman, the Chairman of Zoom International Language and Training Center Mohammad Ahsanul Kabir Bhuiyan and the senior journalist Badrul Alam Nabil were present as special guest in the program.

Among others, the FAVP of Shahjalal Islami Bank’s Corporate Head Office Mr. Mohammad Tariqul Islam Hiron and the FEO of Payment & Settlement Division Mr. S. M. Kabir Hossain along with prominent figures from the local area were present at the event.
