Mrinal Kanti Roy, Tangail Correspondent: Government secondary school teachers in Tangail have started a work stoppage to press for four demands. From Monday, they stopped conducting annual exams for secondary students. The protest is taking place at Bindubasini Government Boys’ High School and Bindubasini Government Girls’ High School in the city.
At Bindubasini Government Boys’ High School, it was seen that the head teacher Tofazzal Hossain, senior teachers Md. Abdul Kuddus and Faruk Hossain, and assistant teacher Md. Khalid Hasan were present at the school along with other teachers. However, no classes were held, and all teaching activities inside classrooms remained suspended.
