The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court has instructed the Election Commission (EC) to address the application submitted by Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh concerning the annulment of its registration and other associated issues as a political party.
A four-member panel of the Appellate Division, headed by Chief Justice Dr. Syed Refaat Ahmed, issued the ruling on Sunday (June 1), granting the appeal.
