Rupali Bank PLC won the ‘Top Ten Remittance Award-2025’ for collecting top ten remittances last year. The award was presented at the inaugural ceremony of the World Conference Series 2025 titled ‘Branding Bangladesh’ organized by the Center for NRB at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital on Saturday (January 11).

The meeting was chaired by NRB Center Chairperson MS Sekil Chowdhury and was attended by Overseas Advisor Md. Touhid Hossain as the chief guest. The event was attended by the Honorable Speaker of the House of Commons (Tower Hamlet) of the United Kingdom, Barrister Saifuddin Khaled, a Bangladeshi British citizen, and Dr. Ahsan H. Mansur, Governor of Bangladesh Bank. AKM Zakir Hossain, Deputy General Manager of Remittance Department, received the award on behalf of Rupali Bank.

Local dignitaries and expatriates from various countries were present at the event.
