Rubana Pervin has been promoted to the position of Deputy Managing Director (DMD)of Agrani Bank PLC, On April 10, 2025, the Financial Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance issued a circular promoting her to DMD and appointing her to Agrani Bank in that capacity.
Rubana Pervin began her career at Agrani Bank in 1993 as a Senior Officer. Praised for both her cordial nature and professionalism, she has served with integrity and efficiency in various corporate branches, key divisions, and as head of different circles within the bank. She has also conducted sessions as a speaker in various training workshops at Agrani Bank, particularly on ICC guidelines, foreign trade, and remittance. She has participated in various training programs both at home and abroad, countries including in Singapore and Indonesia. Rubana Pervin holds a Bachelor’s (Honors) and Master’s degree in Mathematics from Jahangirnagar University and an MBA from the Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka.
She was born in Kushtia district. In her personal life, her husband is a distinguished engineer, and she is the mother of two daughters.
