B Mirror Report: The Largest Rotary Club of Bangladesh, the Rotary Club of Dhaka Fort held its 852nd Regular Meeting and First Board Meeting of Rotary Year 2026–27 on Tuesday, 18 August 2026, at Rupayan Trade Center in Dhaka, bringing together Rotarians and prospective members in an inspiring atmosphere of fellowship, service, recognition, and shared commitment to creating lasting impact.
A significant highlight of the evening was the handover of a wheelchair to a deserving beneficiary, kindly facilitated by District Governor 2021-22 Rtn. Barrister Mutasim Billah Faruqui, MPHF, PHS. The meaningful initiative reflected Rotary’s enduring commitment to compassionate service and to improving the lives of people in the community.
Recognizing Excellence in Membership
The club also celebrated the outstanding contribution of Rtn. Afroza Akter, who was recognized as the Best Member of the Month for July 2026. Immediate Past President Rtn. Rokeya Faruqui presented the commemorative memento to Rtn. Afroza Akter in appreciation of her dedication, active participation, and valuable contribution to the club.

Rtn. Afroza Akter, July’s Best Member, shared her personal reflections and experiences, highlighting the value of active engagement and meaningful participation in Rotary.

Club Membership Chair Rtn. Md Abdur Razzak encouraged members to strengthen the club through purposeful membership growth, active engagement, and a welcoming culture that inspires new members to become involved in service.
Member Wellness Chair PP Md. Ahsan Samad, MPHF emphasized the importance of member wellbeing, fellowship, mutual support, and building a stronger and more connected Rotarian community.
The meeting was presided over by Club President Rtn. Tanmoy Mazumder, PHF and organized by Club Secretary Md. Masum Ul Alam.
The evening was further enriched by the enthusiastic participation of fellow Rotarians and prospective members. Their presence, fellowship, and positive spirit underscored the strength of the Rotary Club of Dhaka Fort and its collective determination to serve with purpose.
