Rotary Club of Dhaka Fort Distributes Seasonal Fruits to 150 Orphanage Children

B Mirror Report: The Rotary Club of Dhaka Fort organized a community service initiative titled “Modhu Mashe Modhu Muk” on Friday, distributing fresh seasonal fruits to 150 students and staff of Hatirjheel Ahsanul Ulum Madrasha & Orphanage.

Despite light rain, Rotarians visited the orphanage and distributed 10 varieties of seasonal fruits as part of the club’s efforts to promote children’s nutrition and well-being. The initiative coincided with Rotary’s Maternal and Child Health Month, highlighting the organization’s commitment to supporting the health and welfare of vulnerable children.

The project was chaired by Past President (PP) Shamim Bhuiyan, PHF, while Past District Rotaract Representative (DRR) Md. Abu Bakkar Siddiqui Rupom served as the project secretary.

Among those participating were Club Charter Secretary PP A.T.M. Khairuzzaman Heera, PHF; PP M. Iqbal Kabir, PHF; PP A.R. Khan Arman, MPHF; Rtn. Afroza Akter; Rtn. Afroza Sultana Rozey; Club Secretary Rtn. Md. Masum Ul Alam; and Club President Rtn. Tanmoy Mazumder, PHF, along with other club members.

The Rotary Club said the initiative aimed to provide nutritious food while bringing joy and encouragement to orphaned children, reflecting Rotary’s motto, “Service Above Self.”
