Bangladesh’s leading industrial group RFL has started exporting toys to the United States, marking a significant milestone for the country’s toy industry. The first shipment was sent from RFL’s factory in Palash, Narsingdi.
Currently, RFL exports its toys to 10 countries, including Canada, Italy, Saudi Arabia, India, and Nepal. Kamruzzaman Kamal, Marketing Director of Pran-RFL Group, said, “We are continuously working to showcase our products in international markets alongside the local market. Exporting to the United States is an important achievement for us. Our toys are made according to international standards, ensuring safety for children and earning the trust of buyers both at home and abroad.”
He added, “Our goal is not only to increase exports but also to establish Bangladesh’s toy industry on the global map. The local market was previously import-dependent, but now we are self-reliant. We have started exporting RFL’s baby sports toys to the U.S., and we hope to expand to new markets in the future.”
RFL Group began producing and marketing toys in 2015. Under the Plateim brand, the company manufactures and sells a wide range of products, including educational toys, rechargeable cars, tricycles, rockers, sliders, and baby sports toys.
