The redistribution of responsibilities of the two commissioners of the capital market regulatory body Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has been completed. In an office order signed by BSEC Chairman Khandkar Rashed Maqsood on Wednesday (August 21), official responsibilities were redistributed between the two commissioners.
Chairman Khandkar Rashed Maksud led BSEC two commissioners are Dr. ATM Tarikuzzaman, CPA and Mohsin Chowdhury.
After the redistribution of responsibility among the commissioners. ATM Tarikuzzaman has the responsibility of Chief Accounts Department, Corporate Finance Department, Derivatives Department, ICT Department, Legal Department and Market and Intermediaries Affairs Department.
And Commissioner Md Mohsin Chowdhury has been given the responsibility of Admin and Finance Department, Investment Management Department, Issuer Company Affairs Department, Enforcement Department, Market Intelligence and Investigation Department, R&D and APA, SDG, NIS and Innovation.
Professor Shibli Rubaiyat-ul-Islam resigned from the post of BSEC chairman last Sunday (August 11) in view of the recent political changes. Two commissioners of the organization resigned the next day. Sheikh Shamsuddin Ahmed and Dr. Rumana Islam.
