A protest was held today (05/04/2026) to protect Bangladesh Krishi Bank from officials alleged to be aligned with the fascist Awami League and to press various demands.

The program was presided over by the organization’s respected President, Mr. Fayez Uddin Ahmed. Speakers included the General Secretary of the organization and a respected member of Dhaka Metropolitan South Sramik Dal, Mr. Md. Miraj Hossain; Additional General Secretary Mr. Jamal Hossain; Finance Secretary Mr. Md. Aslam, among others.

The speakers called for an end to outsourcing in the bank, recruitment of employees, and promotions. They also urged taking necessary steps to implement Prime Minister Mr. Tareq Rahman’s vision of a agriculture-based economy.

They further requested the administration to immediately remove officials who benefited from the Awami League and to appoint the affected officials to those positions.
