Prime Bank Concludes Entrepreneurship Development Training Program in Natore

Prime Bank PLC. successfully concluded its month-long Entrepreneurship Development Training Program in Natore with a closing ceremony held recently. The program was conducted under the Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP), an initiative funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and implemented by the Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance with support from the SME and Special Programmes Department of Bangladesh Bank.

The training program aimed to strengthen entrepreneurial skills, enhance business capacity, foster innovation and improve industry competitiveness. A total of 25 aspiring entrepreneurs successfully completed the comprehensive training, equipping them with practical knowledge and essential business competencies to support sustainable enterprise development.

The closing ceremony was presided over by Md. Abdul Halim, Senior Vice President and Regional Head of Prime Bank PLC.

Md. Ayub Ali, Joint Director of the SME and Special Programmes Department (SMESPD) of Bangladesh Bank and Deputy Programme Director (DPD) of SICIP, attended the event as the Chief Guest. He emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship development in driving economic growth and highlighted the role of collaborative initiatives such as SICIP in creating a more competitive and innovative business ecosystem.

Shaikh Nur Alam, Head of S Business & Refinance at Prime Bank PLC., attended the ceremony as the Special Guest. He reaffirmed Prime Bank’s commitment to empowering entrepreneurs by providing continuous support through dedicated financial solutions, refinancing facilities and tailored banking services for small businesses.

Through initiatives like the Entrepreneurship Development Training Program, Prime Bank PLC. continues to contribute to the development of Bangladesh’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by supporting capacity building, innovation and inclusive economic growth.
