On the occasion of Independence and National Day, a colorful parade and fly-past are being held in a festive atmosphere in the capital. The event is taking place at the National Parade Square, located in the old airport area of Agargaon in Dhaka, and is attended by President Md. Shahabuddin and Prime Minister Tarek Rahman.
From Thursday morning (March 26), people from various walks of life began gathering at the Parade Square. Many visitors arrived with their families, carrying national flags, while some even tied flags around their heads, adding to the festive mood.
The event is open to the general public. Gates 2, 3, 4, 10, and 11 have been designated for entry. Visitors have been requested not to carry bags.
