Prayer and Milad Mahfil Held to Celebrate BNP’s Victory in the National Parliamentary Election
A prayer and Milad mahfil was organized to express gratitude to Almighty Allah following the victory of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in the 13th National Parliamentary Election with an overwhelming mandate from the people. The event was arranged on Monday, 16 February 2026, by the Bangladesh Krishi Bank Employees’ Union (CBA), B-985 (affiliated with the Bangladesh Nationalist Workers’ Party), as a gesture of thanksgiving.
Among those present were the bank’s Deputy Managing Directors, Md. A. Rahim and Md. Khaleduzzaman. Also in attendance were the Chief Coordinator (Deputy General Manager) of the Nationalist Forum, Md. Zahid Hossain; one of the Coordinators (Deputy General Manager), Syed Liaquat Hossain; the President of Bangladesh Krishi Bank Employees’ Union, B-985 (CBA), Fayez Uddin Ahmed; General Secretary Md. Miraj Hossain; along with officials and employees from various levels of the bank.
Prayers were offered at the mahfil seeking peace, stability, development, and the continued progress of democracy in the country. Special prayers were also made for the success and prosperity of the newly elected government.
The Bangladesh Krishi Bank Employees’ Union (CBA), B-985 expressed its respect for the country’s democratic process and its expectation that the continuity of national progress will be maintained.
