A two-day long SME Entrepreneurship Workshop titled “Pashe Achi” kicked off on Friday at the capital’s Riddhi Gallery under the auspices of Power of She. The workshop aims to empower women entrepreneurs through skill development.
The workshop was inaugurated by Chanda Mahzabeen, Founder of Hal Chhero Na Bandhu, and Ishita Sharmin, Chief Executive Officer of Sale. Mentors include Bibiana’s fashion designer Lippi Khandkar, world color master Biplab Saha, SME Foundation General Manager Farzana Khan, and City Bank’s Head of SME Kamrul Mehdi.
“Skill development is the first condition of women empowerment,” said Sabina Sabi, Project Chief of Power of She. “Empowering women by doing that is the main goal of Power of She. And this workshop is part of this goal.”
The two-day workshop will conclude on Saturday with a certificate distribution ceremony for participants at 5 pm, presided over by Tarana Halim MP.
