Under the initiative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, a ceremony was held on March 30, 2026, at the Prime Minister’s Office of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. In the first phase, a total of 129 national athletes were awarded special honors and financial rewards for their outstanding achievements, including sports allowances, sports cards, and recognition for international success. During the event, the Hon’ble Prime Minister congratulated the members of the Bangladesh Bridge Open Team for their participation in the 47th World Bridge Championship held in 2025. As proud representatives of the country, Mr. Md. Zahid Hossain, Deputy General Manager of the Human Resource Management Department and A.H.M. Kamruzzaman, Deputy General Manager of the Banani Corporate Branch, Dhaka of Bangladesh Krishi Bank, received honors in the bridge category. On behalf of the Hon’ble Prime Minister, the recipients were awarded medals, financial reward Cheques, and sports cards as a mark of recognition. This remarkable achievement of the officials in the international sports arena is a matter of great pride for Bangladesh Krishi Bank.
