Jahirul Patuakhali Correspondent : Sports equipment and books have been allocated to different educational institutions as part of an initiative by the Patuakhali District Council, commemorating the significant July Revolution of the students and their commitment to constructing a new Bangladesh.

The event, held on Wednesday afternoon (July 3) in the conference room of the Patuakhali District Council, featured Deputy Commissioner and District Council Administrator Abu Hasnat Mohammad Arefin as the chief guest.

District Council Chief Executive Officer Md. Kamrul Hasan Sahel presided over the event, which was attended by heads of various educational institutions and relevant stakeholders.

Speakers emphasized that the unity and protests of students in July and August of the previous year represent a crucial moment in the history of Bangladesh’s democratic movement. It is essential for the new generation to draw inspiration from the spirit of that revolution.

During the event, sports equipment and textbooks were presented to teachers from 60 educational institutions across the district.
