Paid-up Capital of BDBL Increased

BM Desk: The paid-up capital of the state-owned Bangladesh Development Bank PLC. has been increased from Tk. 400 crore to Tk. 600 crore. Paper shares worth Tk. 200 crore, equivalent to 2 crore shares, were handed over to Dr. Md Khairuzzaman Mozumder, Secretary of the Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, Wednesday at Bangladesh Secretariat. Chairman of the bank’s board Ahmed Ismet, Managing Director & CEO Md. Jashim Uddin and Company Secretary Kamal Uddin Ahmed Mollah, was present that time.
