Mansur  Pabna Correspondent : Newly elected president of Pabna Chamber of Commerce and Industries Md. Forkan Raja Biswas Badsha says, businessmen are the driving force of this country. Development of the country and nation is possible through fair business. If we want to develop the country, we have to create a safe environment for businessmen in the state. He said, if we can work together for the development of the country, this golden country will turn around again, God willing.

He made this statement in his presidential address at the introduction meeting of the newly elected executive committee of the Pabna Chamber of Commerce and Industries and a view-sharing meeting of businessmen from all walks of life in Pabna at the chamber auditorium on Wednesday.

Pabna Chamber Senior Vice President Md. Faridul Islam and Director ABM Fazlur Rahman moderated the exchange of views, while Pabna Press Club President Akhtaruzzaman Akhtar, Chamber Vice President Alhaj Rashedul Islam Rashed, Director Mohammad Harun-or Rashid, Director Sheikh Ratan, Director Imrul Hasan Ronti, prominent businessman Alhaj Awkat Hossain, Chatmohar Traders Association President Zikarul Islam Sintu, among others, also spoke at the meeting.

At the beginning of the program, a minute’s silence was observed to pay tribute to the martyrs of the plane crash at Milestone School and College in Uttara, Dhaka. In addition, the injured were wished for recovery. Later, leaders of various business organizations welcomed all the newly elected directors with flowers.

The leaders also said that the Pabna Chamber of Commerce and Industry will work so that businessmen can conduct business with ease. The speakers urged all businessmen to conduct business honestly and sincerely.
