In order to simplify import and export transactions, the National Board of Revenue (NBR) announced Tuesday that all customs houses and stations will remain open daily, with the exception of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In a directive released yesterday, the NBR agreed to continue limited operations on weekly and public holidays from March 28 to April 5.
The ruling comes after clothing exporters requested on March 13 that customs procedures remain open to ensure seamless shipping.
