Mrinal Kanti Roy, Tangail Correspondent: SM Obaidul Haque has been appointed as the administrator of Tangail District Council. SM Obaidul Haque took office for the first time after joining the district council on Monday (March 16) morning. At that time, numerous BNP leaders and activists greeted him with flowers.

Administrator SM Obaidul Haque said, I am grateful to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. The responsibility given to me by the Prime Minister as the District Council Administrator, I will try to fulfill the expectations of the people by coordinating with the MPs and ministers of the eight parliamentary constituencies of Tangail. I hope everyone will cooperate with me.

The government has appointed administrators to 42 district councils in the country. As part of this, an administrator has been appointed to the Tangail District Council. In continuation of this, SM Obaidul Haque Nasir, a member of the central BNP executive committee, has been appointed as the Tangail District Council administrator.

Obaidul Haque, who was appointed as an administrator in the Tangail District Council, was elected as a candidate with the BNP’s paddy sheaf symbol in the 13th National Parliament election.
