No Price-Sensitive Data, Says Meghna Pet Industries

The company has notified the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) that it is unaware of the cause behind the unusual rise in the share price of Meghna Pet Industries Limited, which is listed on the capital market. This information was disclosed by sources from the DSE.

As per the source, the DSE issued a notice on August 19 to inquire about the reason for the unusual increase in the company’s share price. In reply, the company stated that the share price is rising without any undisclosed price-sensitive information.

Market analysis indicates that the company’s share price was 24 taka 70 paisa on July 10. As of yesterday, August 20, the share price had risen to 30 taka. Over this period, the share price has increased by 05 taka 30 paisa.

The DSE regards this price surge as abnormal.
