New Members Appointed to the Board of Directors of Community Bank Bangladesh

Community Bank Bangladesh PLC is pleased to announce that Bangladesh Bank has approved the appointment of six new Directors and three Independent Directors to its Board, in accordance with regulatory requirements.

According to the official notification, the newly appointed Directors are:

Mr. A.K.M Awlad Hossain, Additional Inspector General (Admin), Bangladesh Police; Mr. Md. Akram Hossain, BPM, Additional Inspector General (Finance), Bangladesh Police; Mr. Abu Naser Mohammed Khaled, BPM, Additional Inspector General (HRM), Bangladesh Police; Mr. Md. Sibgat Ullah, BPM, PPM, Additional Inspector General (CID), Bangladesh Police; Mr. Sarder Nurul Amin, BPM, Additional Inspector General (Development), Bangladesh Police; Mr. Md. Kamrul Ahsan, Deputy Inspector General (Confidential), Bangladesh Police.

The newly appointed Independent Directors are: Dr. Md. Morshed Hasan Khan, Professor, Department of Marketing, University of Dhaka; Mr. Syed Rafiqul Haq, Former Additional Managing Director, Mutual Trust Bank; Mr. Mohammed Tofazzul Hussain, FCA, Managing Partner, Amin Hossain & Co., Chartered Accountants.

With the inclusion of these distinguished professionals, the Board of Directors of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC will be further strengthened to accelerate growth, enhance corporate governance, and reinforce shareholders’ confidence in the Bank.
