The Netherlands has pledged €500,000 in humanitarian aid to support Rohingya refugees currently taking shelter in Bangladesh.
The announcement was made in a statement issued by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Dhaka .
The embassy reaffirmed the Netherlands’ commitment to assisting Bangladesh in its ongoing efforts to host the displaced Rohingya population.
The funds will be provided to the UNHCR, the Netherlands’ trusted humanitarian partner, to strengthen protection and humanitarian assistance for the refugees.
