B MIrrorr Desk: National Credit and Commerce Bank PLC. conducted its 11th Extra-ordinary General Meeting (EGM) through Digital platform at Dhaka on Tuesday and approved amendments of Article 91, 94(1) and 94(2) of the Articles of Association (AoA) of the Bank.

Chairman of NCC Bank Md. Nurun Newaz Salim presided over the meeting while Vice-Chairman A. S. M. Mainuddin Monem, Director & Past Vice-Chairman Sohela Hossain, Director Syed Asif Nizamuddin, Past Vice-Chairman & Chairman of the Executive Committee Khairul Alam Chaklader, Director Mohammed Sazzad Un Newaz, Independent Director & Chairman of the Audit Committee Meer Sajed-Ul-Basher FCA virtually joined the meeting. Besides, Managing Director M. Shamsul Arefin and DMD & Company Secretary Md. Monirul Alam along with Shareholders were present in the EGM through Digital platform and casting their votes.

Chairman of the Bank Md. Nurun Newaz Salim in his speech said that on the basis of advice of Bangladesh Bank these amendments which were accepted by the Hon’ble shareholders in the 11th Extra-ordinary General Meeting (EGM) are the remarkable steps for NCC Bank. Through this, it will be easier to follow the instructions of the regulatory body as well as to manage the operational works of the Bank.
