NCC Bank has arranged a “Capacity Building Program” on Sustainable Finance.

NCC Bank PLC. has arranged a “Capacity Building Program” on Sustainable Finance on Saturday (02/11/2024) at its Head Office. Chowdhury Liakat Ali, Director of Sustainable Finance Department of Bangladesh Bank graced the occasion as keynote speaker. M. Shamsul Arefin, Managing Director & CEO of NCC Bank presided over the program while Md. Mahbub Alam, Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan, Md. Zakir Anam & Mohammed Mizanur Rahman, Deputy Managing Directors, Mohammed Anisur Rahman, CIO of NCC Bank and Shakhawat Hossan, Ahmed Zubaer Mahbub & Md. Abu Rayhan, Joint Directors of Bangladesh Bank were present on the occasion. More than hundred Executives & Officials of NCC Bank including Managers & Senior Officials of different branches and concerned Divisional Heads of Head Office participated in the program. Nighat Mumtaz, In-Charge of Sustainable Finance Unit & Head of Women’s Banking of NCC Bank conducted the program.

Chowdhury Liakat Ali, Director of Sustainable Finance Department of Bangladesh Bank emphasized the importance of Green & Sustainable finance in the current global context. He talked about the environmental aspects in terms of financing in different sectors. M. Shamsul Arefin, Managing Director & CEO believes that NCC Bank would play a pivotal role in Sustainable Finance complying with the guidelines of Bangladesh Bank.
