NCC Bank distributed agricultural materials free of cost at Pabna.

NCC Bank has distributed agricultural materials free of cost among 600 marginal onion farmers of Sujanagar & Santhia Upazila of Pabna as part of its corporate social responsibility to increase agricultural production. Md. Mahbub Alam, Deputy Managing Director of NCC Bank presided over the ceremony while Dr. Md. Jamal Uddin, Deputy Director of Department of Agricultural Extension, Pabna graced the occasion as chief guest. They have distributed onion seeds & mango seedlings among marginal onion farmers of Sujanagar Upazila, Pabna. Md. Rafiul Islam, Sujanagar Upazila Agriculture Officer was present as special guest in the ceremony. In case of Santhia program, Md. Saiful Azam Khan, Principal of Agricultural Training Institute, Ishwardi, Pabna graced the occasion as chief guest while Md. Zahidul Islam, Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Pabna as guest of honor and Sanjeev Kumar Goswami as special guest distributed onion seeds & mango seedlings among marginal farmers. Besides, Muhammad Shahidul Islam, SVP of CRM Division, Md. Omar Sharif, Regional Head of North Zone & Md. Kamaruzzaman Kamrul, Manager of Pabna Branch along with local elite were also present on the occasion.

Dr. Md. Jamal Uddin, Deputy Director of Department of Agricultural Extension, Pabna, Md. Saiful Azam Khan, Principal of Agricultural Training Institute, Ishwardi, Pabna and Md. Zahidul Islam, Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Pabna mentioned that the distribution of agriculture materials is a great initiative of the Bank and thanked the NCC Bank’s authorities for coming forward to increase onion production in the country as well as helping the farmers.

 

Md. Mahbub Alam, Deputy Managing Director of NCC Bank said that NCC Bank is working for the food security of our country. In this continuation, NCC Bank is supporting the marginal farmers agricultural materials and agricultural machinery across the country as a part of social responsibility. He mentioned the plan of NCC Bank to help farmers by providing preservation facilities of onion in Faridpur, Rajbari, Kushtia and especially in Pabna district.
