NBR cuts source tax on fresh fruit imports

The 10% source tax on imported fresh fruits has been lowered to 5% by the National Board of Revenue (NBR).

These fruits include fresh or dried oranges, citrus fruits, grapes, lemons, and other citrus fruits. They can also be fresh or dried, as well as fresh apples and pears.

In this regard, the NBR released a notification today, March 13, which will take effect right now.
