Stock exchange-listed company Navana Pharmaceuticals PLC has decided to set up an herbal division at its manufacturing facility at a cost of Tk 208.5 crore. The decision was taken at a meeting of the company’s board of directors on Wednesday (January 15).

According to the source, the company will build this herbal production department of 10 thousand square feet, subject to the approval of the regulatory body. The company will spend 20 crore 85 lakh taka to build this herbal division center. Which will be invested from the company’s internal and external sources.
Navana Pharma expects to generate revenue of Tk 400 million from the first year of construction of this division. The implementation of the project may take about five years.
