Mobile court operation severs 5 km of unauthorized gas lines, impacting 1500 stoves

BMirror Report:

The Narayanganj district administration conducted a significant operation to evict illegal gas connections in Sonargaon, Narayanganj.

Led by Moushumi Akhter, Senior Assistant Commissioner of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, the operation on Monday successfully severed unauthorized gas connections at four locations, covering a distance of about 5 km.

According to the Deputy Commissioner’s Office statement, this crackdown will result in the isolation of approximately 1500 residential stoves from the gas line. Officials claimed that this effort has effectively killed illegal gas distribution at its source point.
