Mohammad Anis has recently been promoted to join Janata Bank Plc as General Manager of IT, Overseas & MIS Division. Earlier he was Deputy General Manager of the same bank. Mohammad Anis started his banking career by joining Janata Bank in 2001 as a senior officer. During his long career, he was responsible for the IT and AML affairs of the branches of the United Arab Emirates, including serving as the manager of various branches of the bank. He obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accountancy from Dhaka University. In 1996, he served as the President of Dhaka University Debating Society. He is a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS). Professionally, he participated in various seminars, symposiums and workshops held at home and abroad. His father is Md Abu Taher and mother Roshan Ara. He was born in 1973 in the East of Dhaka.
