Metro rail resumes service after Eid break

BM Desk : Sunday, June 8, saw the return of metro rail operations following a one-day interruption for the holy Eid-ul-Azha. According to the headway schedule, trains begin to run every 30 minutes at 8:00 am.

The metro rail will run according to the public holiday schedule starting tomorrow, Monday.
However, several limitations have been put in place by the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL). It has become strictly forbidden to bring raw or cooked meat or sacrificial animal hides on the metro line. At each station gate, every passenger will undergo a comprehensive inspection.
