Mercantile Bank PLC distributed Hajj gift items among pilgrims of the first Hajj flight at Ashkona Hajj Camp. Md. Zakir Hossain, Deputy Managing Director, CRO and Chief of Islamic Banking of the bank inaugurated the program on Friday, April 17, through distributing Hajj gift items on courtesy of Mercantile Bank’s Islamic Banking service, ‘Taqwa’. Md. Mizanur Rahman Sarker, Head of Islamic Banking Division, Deputy Chief of Islamic Banking & Vice President and other senior officials of the bank were present at the event. During the ceremony, prayers offered for safe journey and good health of the respected pilgrims, as well as for the acceptance of their holy Hajj by Almighty Allah.
