Mercantile Bank PLC. distributed open agriculture loans recently among 47 farmers of Feni, Laxmipur and Noakhali districts in a ceremony arranged at an auditorium in Feni. Arif Hossain Khan, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank Chattogram Region was present as the chief guest. 

Zakir Hossain, DMD of Mercantile Bank, Abdul Ahad, Joint Director, Bangladesh Bank Chattogram Region, Aynul Kabir Shamim, President of Feni Chamber of Commerce & Industries, Ekram Uddin, Deputy Diector, Department of Agricultural Extension, Feni were present as special guests. 

Farid Uddin Ahmed Bhuiyan, SVP & Head of bank’s Cumilla-Noakhali zone, presided over the ceremony. Shafruzzaman Khan, FVP & Head of Agriculture Credit Division of MBPLC spoke on the occasion. Jobaidul Islam, Joint Director of Bangladesh Bank Chattogram Region was the keynote speaker of the session. HOBs and Credit In-charges of MBPLC Cumilla-Noakhali region, distinguished local representatives, political leaders and farmers were present on the occasion.
