Meghna Bank inks Merchant Pay Service with Akij Fair Value Ltd

Akij Fair Value, the retail grocery chain of Akij Venture Group, has signed merchant pay service agreement with Meghna Bank to provide cashless grocery experience to its clients. Under this arrangement, MeghnaPay customers now can ‘Scan & Pay’ at the outlets of Akij Fair Value. Recently, both the organizations have handed over the signed Agreements at the Head Office of Meghna Bank PLC.

Mr. Kimiwa Saddat, Deputy Managing Director, Meghna Bank PLC., Mr. Mokhlesur Rahman Akhtar, CFO, Akij Venture Group, Mr. Sayed Joynul Abedin, Director Operations, Akij Venture Group along with other Senior Executives from both of the organizations were present at the occasion.

“Cashless transaction is not just an experience, it’s becoming mandatory day by day. We dream to be a role player in next-gen cashless society & MeghnaPay is one of our digital initiatives” said Mr. Kimiwa Saddat. Akij Venture Group’s CFO Mr. Akhtar said, “To provide global scale grocery experience to our customers, we are working in different digital platforms. We believe, Meghna Bank’s Merchant Pay service will be instrumental to reach our digital goals.
