The 13th meeting of the Shariah Supervisory Committee of Meghna Bank PLC was held on 06th May 2025 of the bank’s head office in Dhaka.

Dr. Md. Anwar Hosain Molla, Honorable Chairman and Faqih Member of Shariah Supervisory Committee presided over the meeting. The meeting was attended by esteemed Faqih Members Dr. Muhammad Saifullah, Mufti Abdullah Masum and Mufti Sazzadur Rahman. Banks’ Deputy Managing Director Md. Sadiqur Rahman, Chief Financial Officer Sajib Kumar Saha and Head of the Islamic Banking Division Md. Shah Alam along with other members of the bank were also present in the meeting.

During the meeting, key discussions were held on compliance, development strategies and ensuring Shariah principles in all Islamic banking operations of the bank.
